Have you had any chunking? Have you had any balance issues?

Edit: I laugh at these metric sizes, what a pain to understand really. The true diameter is 33.9 but the sidewall says 34. Youre right about the 35 also. The closest to 35" is the STT and the Kuhmo MTs. I think they measure in at 34.6

i keep telling cooper to make more 34s....the 305/70/17 MTR was a great size for our trucks...not too much trimming and beating to make that fit... comes in at 34.1"

i noticed a couple corners on a few lugs were chipped off...nothing major yet

firs time balance didn't take TOO many weights...i think i need a balance though...i noticed a while back a string of weights on the ground next to my truck...i thought it was from the spare, but it might have been from one of the others...

That's a size I didn't know existed! And the amount of trimming I needed for the 33.9 was minimal. I only rub a little plastic at 1/4 wheel turn when they stuff. I could go and shave a bit of plastic but its not hurting anything.

in a perfect world... a 305/75/16 would be a great tire for wheelers in the 2nd gens

Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
so cooper makes a 34.1x11.50? or is that equivalent to a 10.50

Post that question on Stefen's page and it may be in his build. He is good about that stuff.

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
Thanks for the review on the stt pro, Bob. Sounds like a strong contender for my next 3 season tire (a dedicated winter tire is kind of a must up here)

Yea, overall the stt looks like a good choice. How are they for road noise?

yea i've been thinking about a winter tire at least for kayla to get her off the MTRs for the winter time...but we'll see how the trucks do out here...in CO it wasn't a big issue

new, they were damn quiet for a MT...as they are getting some use, they are starting to get your typical MT hum...not overly loud yet, but definitely noticeable. on par with where the STTs and MTRs but slightly quieter due to the center lug layout.

Up in VT you'll have a lot more ice/hardpack slick ass snow than in CO. MT tires are pretty terrible in the predominant winter driving conditions in the Northeast.

Your wife has the FJ correct? Ask around FJNE forums. Seems most people up your way and further north run snow tires in the winter, or at least a decent AT.
