relatively, they've been doing great...many less daily miles now since i got the lexus, but they're in the 35-40k range and still holding up great

i'll have them up for sale soon and will have pics of the condition in a few weeks...

i am changing over to interco, but i still highly recommend the STT Pros for an all-around excellent MT

Yeah that's crazy with 35-40k on them they are still doing great. Probably a 55k mile tire you think?
I'm looking at the Pros or the Maxx's in 255/75R17s and the pros are actually cost less and weigh less so was thinking bout just going with them. Nice to know they hold up well in terms of highways miles.

Which Interco's you thinking about going with?

i had good luck with the original STT's as well...if i wanted to push them, i would be able to get 50k range for sure...but i'll pass them on to someone who could use a 35" set for cheap

i've been hearing great things on the maxx as well...so you really can't go wrong with either..depends on the performance & look you're going for

looking at the Interco Trxus MT for the next set...i've been eyeing them for a while now and since i have a DD now, i'll give them a shot knowing i won't "waste" the life on DD life

Would you suggest doing this with the center caps on or off the truck first?

i did all 5 while still on the truck.

pop the existing cap off...file down where needed till the trd cap pops in snug

Gotcha. My caps are currently not on the truck. Would it be easier to file with them off the truck, or mount, then file them?

the amount of thought time you put into this, you could have already had them done...it doesn't matter. very simple task either on or off truck
