    i know a few guys who have ran both and love the coopers the stt is one of the best tires being made now imo as well.

    plus they are cheaper than most :)

    both have strong ass side walls and will give me great traction...

    in 285/75/16 MTR and STTs by me are running about the same..

    well you know the upcoming mod already...

    i want 34s but i don't want km2s

    i'd like some MTRs or STTs but it's either 33 or 35s with them...nothing in the middle for 16 or 17" wheels

    and it would be nice to swap out the wheels for some MT classic locks 16" and get some more rubber and stiffer sidewalls...

    so it's looking like i'll stay at 33s (285/75/16) because idk if i want to deal with the wider tire....

    now if they only had a 34 or 35 that was 10.5-11.5 wide on a 16 with E rating...

    well u can look at it this way on a positive note. 285/75 r16 is taller than ur 285/70 r17

    I may be a little late on this but have you looked at a 285/75r17? I picked up a used set of Toyo at's in that size that measure 34x11.

    just saw on their site that they offer the m/t in the 285/75/17 as well...E rating as well

    at $361/tire though, that runs the bill up there quick!
