I don't know man. The 305 MTRs actually measure just under 34 by right around 12.3 or so on the truck. I imagine that is pretty close to actual measurements of some 315s...

On mine it looks like I will definitely have to trim an inch or so out of the fender. On level ground they tear into the fender on the back of the wheel well. I haven't stuffed them yet, and I haven't tested on the back yet.

what size wheels are you running?

    i have 17x8 wheels

edit...saw you'll be on 17x8.5, so you'll be slightly wider than me, but very close

    taken from Tirerack

A tire's section width (also called "cross section width") is the measurement of the tire's width from its inner sidewall to its outer sidewall (excluding any protective ribs, decorations or raised letters) at the widest point. This measurement is made without any load placed upon the tire and after the tire has been properly mounted on its industry assigned measuring rim and has been inflated and reset to its test pressure after 24 hours.
Because a tire's section width is influenced by the width of the rim upon which the tire is mounted, the correct industry assigned measuring rim width for the tire size being measured must be used.
The width of a tire mounted on a narrow rim would be "narrower" than if the same tire was mounted on a wide rim. NOTE: because the overall diameter of a steel belted radial is determined by the steel belts, there is little, if any, change to the overall diameter of the tire due to differences in rim width.
The industry rule of thumb is that for every 1/2" change in rim width, the tire's section width will correspondingly change by approximately 2/10".
For example: a tire in the P205/60R15 size is measured on a 6.0" wide wheel and this size tire has an approved rim width range from 5.5" to 7.5" wide. The tire has a section width of 8.23" (209mm) when mounted on a 6.0" wide wheel. If that tire were mounted on all of the rims within its approved range, the tire's approximate section width would change as follows:
Difference from Measuring Rim.............. Rim Width ..............Approximate Tire Section Width
    0.5" narrower..................................... 5.5" ..................................8.03"
    Measuring Rim ....................................6.0" ...................................8.23"
    0.5" wider ..........................................6.5".................................. 8.43"
    1.0" wider........................................... 7.0"................................. 8.63"
    1.5" wider.......................................... 7.5" ...................................8.93"

That makes more sense. I went off your specs on your sig and a 9.8" wheel confused me

The guy I bought my swampers from had them mounted on a 10" rim and said they were too skinny for his liking. Interco has some strangeness to their sizes compared to all other tire companies. On a side note I'll be in Lakewood the dec. 3-7 if anybody wants to meet up for beers.

thanks man...yea used this as a guideline

after repairing the driver side with some marine sealant...sand with 600 (didn't have 800), wipe down, sand with 1000, wipe down, sand with 2000, wipe down, clean surface (used a liquid paint prep degreaser), mask off reverse lights, clean again, 1 light coat of tint, 1 heavy coat of tint, 12 criss-crossing clear coats, sand with 1000, wipe down, sand with 2000, wipe down, rubbing compound, polishing compound and then enjoy the finished product..

took 6+ hours and a 6 pack of dale's pale ale (including 2 hours of waiting for the repair to harden enough to sand down)...so could be done in 4-5 hours allowing proper drying time between coats and allowing the cleaning solution to dry completely

What kind of sealant did you use and how good is it holding up? Is it noticeable through the tint? I have maybe 3 cracked tail lights I want to repair.

Actual measurements on the truck under weight on the 305 MTR are about 33.8 by about 12.3 on my 8.5" wheel. I said that about the 315s, because I've seen 315s that measured like 33.5" while on the truck, when they claimed to be 34.7"... I think I may have some time this weekend to put the 305 back on and do some more testing. I'll let ya know.

Anyway, the tail lights look good. I may have to do that myself.

    used DAP marine silicone sealant..

seems like it'll hold up fine...it doesn't completely dry to a solid so getting it to dry as a layer of protection over the crack was impossible...but i was able to get some in the crack and bond the cracks together...

you can see the cracks here..

so no it's not the perfect fix, but it'll hold...after the tint and clear coats, the crack has smoothed out quite a bit, but you can still notice it if you run your hand over the area..

yea that's why i say in theory...i have yet to test it out in person like you have...we'll see how it goes...i may have to look into a small spacer for my wheels if it is too wide for my wheels..
