A week ago, I installed the Access tonneau cover. I went to roll it up yesterday and found that the male ends of the clips on the nylon roll-up straps are already broken.

I've contacted my reseller for replacements, but wondered if there was some other (non-plastic) replacement I could do. These things look awfully fragile to me.

    Thanks!

I just super glued mine back together. No problems so far (10 months ago).

Yeah..I've had two of these covers and they haven't ever broken. Some poor shipping handling I'd guess.

I'd get the replacements and give them a shot before you start trying to re-engineer them...

One of mine broke on my access cover and I just stopped at the local trk. cap place and he found me one to match out of his misc. parts.
