2012 taco with the 1GR, 188,000km on it. Got a code (P0157) about a week ago on a road trip and cleared it right away to get the traction control stuff back. Light came on again yesterday as I was pulling back into town, same code. It stayed off for a week and ~2,000km though.

My cheapo code reader and torque app tell me it's low voltage on O2 sensor bank 2. Torque app confirmed bank 2 sensor 2 was reading low.
While engine warming up: bank 1 jumped around a bunch but was centered around ~0.6V, bank 2 didn't register on the graph (less than 0.1V)
Once warmed up: at idle both read very low. Tapping the throttle made voltage on bank 1 jump to 0.8V but bank 2 only jumped to 0.2V.

I don't know much about this stuff but it seems like I just need to swap the sensor. Any other troubleshooting steps before I go order one?

    Replace it.

Your short trims will always read rich at warm up - that's what warm up is for. How are you determining what readings are high and low?

I'm just comparing the data from left bank and right bank in the app and expecting that they should be the same. Given that the CEL was for bank 2, I figured that was low and the other sensor was reading properly.
