From what I've gathered these are related but I haven't seen anything that mentioned the O2 sensor as a culprit for causing P0304.
I have an '04 Taco, had a code for Upstream O2, started running rough, replaced O2 and P0304 shows now.
I'm probably in need of a tune-up (working from home lends to not driving often) so should I just change plugs and recheck or is there something else looming?

    Many thanks

I haven't seen many o2 sensors cause misfires.

Misfires are typically ignition based, so wires, coils or spark plugs.

Injectors are more and more common on the 1st gen tacos lately as well.

So start with maintenance and go from there.

If its a v6 there's a date stamped on the ignition leads if its oem. Should give you an idea of where you're at.

B1S1 sensor in an 04 is an air/fuel sensor. I'm not sure what running an O2 sensor upstream would cause but
I don't think it would cause a misfire.

Many thanks. I didn't think there was a relationship so I guess I'm looking at multiple issues. I'll start with plugs and wires.

Thanks Bishop. I've been negligent in maintaining her and she let me know there's an issue
