Sounds like we wired it the same way.
Curious, did you modify the "new" o2 sensor, or the old one?

I started out trying to eliminate the code by installing two new Denso sensors. No luck.
I ended up with one new sensor in front and modified. The old one back in the #2 position unmodified.

    DOH.
I'm modifying the rear (post cats) O2 sensor, not the front A/F sensor.
Confused... the you tube vids i saw showed the mod on post cat sensor, and b/c you mentioned you put the modified harness under the passenger seat, which is where the rear o2 sensor connects...

CRAP !!!!! Don’t mind me it’s been a year plus. YOU are correct it’s the rear that’s modified. Story for the confusion.

p.S.....the new is in front unmodified. The old is in rear modified.

    WHEW, that threw me! lol!
So, I did pretty much the same thing: New front A/F, new rear O2 sensor. Using my extra O2 sensor for the mod, which was the "old" one... maybe i need to modify the newer one to get to a better threshold voltage. I'll give it another go.
Thanks for the replies... it's helpful!
