Yea Utah is definitely a cool place, only place that compares to the wheeling would be sedona, az and it's SUPER small compared to moab.

As far as the wheel bearing goes, it is a PITA but at least is fixed all my little issues and won't lead to failure. The only reason I didn't replace sooner is because I had a shop check it out before when I had my alignment done again and they said they were good. (Should have checked myself)

But it fixed the droning I was experiencing on the freeway/driving, fixed my brake pedal issue, and overall feels more solid when driving:oldglory:

Well been out of updates for a while, BUT my aux B&M trans cooler came today:D

Will be throwing it on this weekend hopefully and then take another little wheeling trip as well. Counting down until the weekend:violent:

This is the cooler I went with after much reading. It bypasses the cooler fins when the atf fluid is cool and goes through them when it's hot and needs cooling. Install pics this weekend IMG_6484.jpg

IMG_6514.jpg Finally got around to installing the trans cooler. Ran it after the oem rad for additional cooling. Custom mounting and relocation one of the horns requiring extending the wires.

Didn't realize the horn bracket was the ground for it cause there's two wires going to the horn so when it didn't work at first I was essentially chasing my tail until I bolted it up.

    Install pics

Side note: of course all wires were cleaned up etc after it was on...

Well it's been awhile on an update...

Changed my rear shock setup slightly again with different lower mounts and re angles them slightly below the axle to more like | |. Had a local buddy custom revalve the shocks, new oil, new seals, and add the foam shaft bump and what a different. I can hit stuff now and not feel like its gonna bottom out and it doesn't feel like a boat on the highway now. Super stoked how it all came out.

Had to re re-route the e-brake cable with longer mounts off my rear end and also tweak the limit straps. I use the whole 10" essentially so should yield a better ride than before because the ratio is better now.

Still waiting on ecgs to send my fully assembled front clamshell and arb compressor so I can get the ball rolling with that. Then gotta break in the gears and get the locker situated with all the little small parts etc

Side note: if anyone needs a local (SoCal) guy to rebuild shocks/custom valve my guy does great work. Mostly on race trucks and prerunners but he does others as well. Anything from new oil/rebuild to custom shim stacks for tuning and bypass tuning as well

Can you be more specific about what changes were made for the revalve? Did your guy change the shim stacks on both the rebound and the compression? Did he add or take away from rebound and/or compression?

My buddy changed the shim stacks on both rebound and compression. He lowered the rebound and increased compression slightly from what dsm had them at before... also said they were way off. The ride a ton better now especially with the foam shaft bump. I can get actual valving specs if interested.

IMG_7087.jpg IMG_7088.jpg IMG_7089.jpg IMG_7091.jpg They are about 1.5-2" below the rear end. But very beefy/strong so I'm not even worried about the possiblitly of them being hung up on a rock etc

Good info. No need to get the specific shim specs he used as that info is specific to Kings and would not apply to my Foxes. However, thanks for the info on the the change direction (more comp, less rebound) as that part will apply to any brand of shock.

Headed over to big bear yesterday. Ran rattlesnake canyon --> burns canyon --> 3N03 --> Jacoby canyon --> 3N16 --> the highway then back home.

Overall good day but didn't get too many pictures

Thanks sir. They are the deaver j59 pack

Thinking of getting another leaf added to them to carry a bit more weight for the bed rack and tent eventually but they are good for what I do now definitely!

Have you gone up Jacoby canyon coming from the highway? (Where the hill is at the beginning of the trail?)

Rattlesnake canyon was pretty mellow and do-able for a 2wd. There is just like 2 spots that may be a challenge. Would want to go with a 4x4 just to be safe. Burns canyon was fine.. we went downhill most of the way on it (to pioneer town) but then went to 3n03 instead of actually going there but burns canyon was easier that rattlesnake. You'll be fine!

Let me know when you end up doing it... it was a good time and want to go check out pioneer town as well

Nah, I've done Jacoby going the other way (towards the highway).
I'd like to do Burns down to pioneer town. Maybe stay the night in JT or something. I'll let cha know when it gets planned!
You should come out to the ilao BBQ tomorrow night. If you're still in Cali lol
