o6 trd tacoma no start help

    hey guys my 06 trd 4x4 v6 nas been sitting for 7 months and wont start,i hve fuel presure and spark for about 6 seconds or until it almost starts and then spark goes away ,anybody else had this proble any help would be gr8t thanx

    Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    The battery may be dead or have a dead cell. The truck doesn't fully "shut off" when it is parked. I would look there first. But check your connections first to see if they are loose or corroded.

    batt new and 100 % will crank fine ,ive even tried a charger at same time

    Time for some good ol'e starting fluid. Take off the air cleaner and spray some in. That will give it a quick juicing to kick it in the pants. We all need a kick in the pants after 7 months of lazyness:D

    the truck has plenty of fuel just not very much spark

    How can you tell if there is not much sparK? Could have water in your fuel lines too. Your fuel can have most of the octane evaporated off, leaving you with a poor fuel. Try some octane booster in the tank.

    i pulled a plug and cranked it around and watched the plug loose spark after 6 seconds of cranking
