Nothing major on the wheels, only minor scratches only seen up close.

 

Price is kind of high for used tires and stock wheels.

There’s a guy selling them for $400 on Facebook market. Also, according to TacomaWorld buy/sell/trade rules, you need more than 50 posts to sell items.

 

I could barely get $600 for my mint set about a year ago and mine had more meat on the Toyo tires. I had it posted on Craigslist and Offer Up for almost 2 months. GLWS

 

I agree with both of these guys. I think I sold mine for $300-ish last year. Granted I probably could have gotten more but I wanted them gone and they had more life on them than yours. Either way, GLWS.

 

That's crazy, I seen one sold for a lot more. But I guess it might have been a fluke.

 

I sold my 2015 trd offroad stock wheels and tires with low mileage in 2015 for $800!

 

I guess its supply and demand also. When the 3rd gens came out, i saw the sport wheels and tires going for $1k plus and People were buying them. Now with the newer wheels on the 2020+, they are not as popular. Now, got lots of people selling their Tacoma wheels so that brings the prices down alot. What also helps if the wheels got newer tires on them. People look for used wheels and tires for a bargain if the tires on their own ride need replacement and they can get a decent set for the same price as them going to the tire shop to pick up a set. If tires are going to need replacement soon, then the value is only in the wheels, which honestly, isnt that much anymore. I have seen many sets of just Wheels in the $200 range and that is what I would probably be willing to pay if in the market. Of course, there are people out there that may be willing to pay more, but that is the rare breed. Hence why it took me 2 months to sell mine.

 

I figured that too, the only reason I'm selling them was that if I ever needed to revert it back to stock it would make more sense to sell it and buy it back later when the price dropped, but I might've missed that opportunity already. I would put a new set of tires on it but don't wanna take the risk and invest more money into something already on the decline in demand.

 

I was in the same boat as you. I would have just kept them if i had the space to store them, but i sold them cause i just needed the space and figured if I ever did sell the truck, i would just leave the wheels I bought on them. I got to enjoy them and the difference of what i sold the wheels and tires for and the new set was about $300. I spent more then that on all the other nonsense I buy for my truck that i cant remove!

 

Ok so I updated some of my faded front end and I'm about 50% willing to sell. The scoop can go for free, but the 2009 grille (Satoshi back in 2009) I'll sell for $150 firm. Both are faded. Satoshi is pretty rigged but has been on the truck solid for over 10 years.

Within a couple of weeks I'll be reconditioning the grille and probably slap it back on, but until then...if someone is looking for a project that is basically done...send a PM
