Anyone have experiences with ARE shells? I've heard good things about them, but never had one. What about this asking price? I know Snugtops are super pricey...

 

I haven't heard much on ARE, but damn that's pretty pricey.

 

That does look pricey. Especially if you have to paint/color match it. Looks good though.

 

You should get it same color just have stretch it for another foot.

 

Mod it brother.. Nothing a bit of metal and welding can't fix...

On the opposite side.. You could also shorten your bed and be the only ACSB (Access Cab Short Bed).. lol.. May be better for off-road.. lol..

Retrofitted 2010 OEM headlights from a TRD Sport. Has that smoked look to it. Did this retrofit back around 2010. Used Bi-Xenon Morimoto Mini D2S kit from TRS. All the wiring is included, so it's pretty much P&P. Comes also with 6K D2S bulbs that has that blue-ish look to it. Comes with 35 Watt ballast. Headlight is in good condition, no broken tabs, typical wear and tear. Some fade to it, more on the driver side. Doesn't effect the output at all. Only driver side is missing the rubber booth. I suggest keeping your stock headlights, cause you ain't gonna pass safety with this. 160$*SOLD*

05-08 overhead console with working temp and compass. Used a gauge from a wreck Tacoma and transferred that into the basic overhead console. Comes with the temp probe. Make sure you're pre-wired for it. Console is in good condition, no damages. Doesnt come with any map light bulbs. 150$

On another note, some ding-a-ling on CL. (no offense if this is one of our guys - but I doubt it)..
Some guy is selling a set of lights on CL.. I will be needing a new pair soon as mine are starting to crack. The guy is asking $50, sends me pics, says someone is offering him $55, I say I'll just give him a straight $60, then I get a reply that he will let me know to see if anyone will offer him more.... WTF.. He wanted $50 and I'm giving him $60.. not like he wanted $75 and I offered less...

 

eff the monkies who want more than their original asking price…and screw the cl hustlers buying shit for cheap to double the profit…even to the boys/friends.


but those tails will plug right in and work. I ran some for my safety check. I would buy it if I didn't get the spare set from lawson. id rather have oem rather than ebay ones.

 

post the cl link to the $50 tail lights. maybe ill offer him 200 and than half the day later say "oh didn't know you're on oahu…would u deliver?"

That guy I bought the offroad wheels from and a set of three all terrains won't stop bugging me. He tries to sell me shit that went for cheap on cl. Like a set of five fj wheels from kohala for $100. Now he's trying to sell it for 600 with bald tires. But was asking me 300 how he bought them

BS.... went from $50 to $55, to (offer $60), and now to $100. If he initially wanted $50/side, why would he go up in the first place..

Even if it was still a good deal, I wouldn't jump on mere principle....
