    Nate an i were surprised how fast my truck was. Not sure if the stampede has a high cg, i think its just the body being mounted so high.

    I don't know if its worth it to you, but you can convert a slash 4x4 to a stampede 4x4. They share lots of parts.

    How? Is it worth doing, or just selling the slash and getting a Stampede.. I thought the Stampede was a bit shorter or narrower than the Slash? I should look into, but I do like the slash. it's fun and fast.. just need more ground clearance..

    The main difference is the chassis length. Stampede is 2" shorter?

    Always.. BUT then my "son" would have 2 cars until we decided to sell one.. lol..


    Googled it.. will try to price out the parts and see how much I would be in the hole. Selling my slash and getting into a brand new pede would be about $100-$125.

    If I can convert for about the same, I'll buy.. If cheaper, then convert..

    If you talking about the sway bar, I ordered the "last one" through an Amazon vendor..

    I'm seeing a bunch of people that go from Stampede to Slash not the other way around.. A lot of people talk about the tipsiness of the Pede. Kinda rethinking if I am making the right decision to go the Pede route..

    Threw my Slash Brushless 4x4 on CL. Would sell cheaper (a bit under what I just paid) to one of you guys if someone wanted it.

    Got it for $300 and literally used it 5 times for about 3 hours total. It was pretty close to new when I got it. If anyone is interested, let me know.. Came with some aftermarket parts (guy probably didn't know that), and changed all the a-arms to RPMs.
