If you guys go west side to play, there's the park and rode at Kunia by the box car track for pavement, and if you go up the road past wal mart, there's a park on the right with a nice berm that makes for huge airtime.

Nah, just tap the brakes to bring the nose down and punch the throttle to bring it up.. Why else would you have a monster truck if not for the jumps!
With permission, I took my old Monster gt to the dirt bike track in sand island. Had a steel roll cage and an Axial .32 motor. It was so heavy, but it flew!

Yeah next Sunday the 8th I'm planning on heading out West!

So Traxxas is sending new shocks under warranty? That is pretty cool! As for the Ti shafts, air could be getting in from either end. Might need to remove the orings at the bottom and clean and inspect them real well. Then inspect the top seal, and clean out the threads on the body and cap. When mine leak like that it is usually because I pinched the top seal when tightening the cap. If the top seal isn't seated well in the cap it will twist when you screw the cap on.

When filling the shocks, try filling it up, set the bladder onto the shock body, spilling some oil, then threading the cap on. it works out better than if the bladder is installed in the cap before screwing onto the shock body.

That's the way I do my shocks. Make sure shaft is all the way out. I even built a stand to let the oil settle and bubbles rise to the top.

Autos and RCs are two hobbies where you shouldn't be keeping track of the spending anyway!

Yes its midnight.. OCD kicked in and I needed to get my shocks done.. realized it's less about the rebound and more about the dampening... the OCD kicked in when trying to get both shocks to match on the rebound (without springs). Settled for similar/same dampening and no air noise.. While I was up and the wife and kids were sleeping, went ahead and changed out the spur to the steel one that came in the mail today.

Ready to run it tomorrow morning..

oh btw.. Did this racing my nephew.. who knows how.

At least I'm not the only one up! But I'm working, I have an excuse.
Shocks are tricky. When you do as Iven said and have all the shafts fully extended when you assemble the shocks, they normally come out to be the same. If not, there still air in there or the bladder didn't seat correctly, making less or more air on the cap side of the bladder. It's not critical, though. No one here is racing for a national title!
