That's what I told her the other night...

 

That was a savage flux HP. The ultimate monster truck. If you want speed and power, that's the way to go. its a 1/8th monster truck, but some guys stretch the chassis and turn it into a 1/5th scale. That's basically what the HPI super 5sc was.
This guy is kinda irritating, but still shows what the flux is capable of. Pretty bulletproof too (except the tires obviously)

Too bad the GoPro no more GPS like the Sony Action Cam so can see MPH

 

You could always strap your phone to it as well.. i have a GPS app on mine... and is how i could see how fast the different pinions were.

 

Actually, I found out that with the stock motor mount, I can only use an 10 or 11t pinion, and stock spur. I'd have to buy an aftermarket motor mount to use different gearing

It was a fun morning. The thing hauls ass across the sand with the bigger tires. After that last jump on the video where the GoPro broke off, I broke the rear wing and and rear diff outdrive cup, but it drove pretty good in FWD, so I kept going. Climbing the hills was hard tho.

Dirt jump track at Koko head district park. Its right at the base of the Koko crater hike. You've probably walked right past it like most people

Already fully rebuilt and clean with all new body panels
Wing mount is still off tho. Gotta order a new one.

My reinforced outdrives. These are the ones I made earlier, but didn't want to take apart the rear end until I had to.

The rear end is removed pretty easily as a unit.
