to be totally honest its not that hard to remove a wheel lock. more so the round ones like on factory wheels all you need is a bolt out socket couple wacks with a hammer and a impact gun and it comes right off. as a mechanic ive done it many times at work with people missing their lugnut lock keys. the Spline KEYED ones are slightly harder since some are n 7 pt or 5 pt and a regular socket 6/12pt will have a really hard time getting off. Come to think of it i do remember one customer that actually had 5 different locking spline lugnuts on their car that had rims on it. I must say he got a good deal on the tire rotation i swear it took 4x the rate to remove all of them. since you had to try every dam key he had to remove a single wheel.

matter of fact most dealers have access to master key sets as well. I know VW/Audi used to sell it to the public before till they realized it wasnt a good idea.

i have aftermarket FN wheels i just ordered 2 different set of wheel locks just because. anything to slow down the crooks is more time someone hopefully will see them in the act.

both i believe should work on wheels that take cone shape lugnuts like the FN wheels do.

I have something similar, found it easier to just pound a impact socket onto the nut and remove.

http://youtu.be/R6-frJjNhqk if it takes this guy 2 mins to remove I can only imagine how fast a chronic would do it. the chronics probably learning this from you tube but even though I'm surprised no one heard this if they had locks on those trucks

Hence my post about gorilla locks with spinning sleeve. Keyed part is in the middle of spinning sleeve.

Not that hard to mask hammer noise. They just use a dead blow hammer very minimum noise. I think us taco guys should set up a bunch of bait trucks and lick deez fuckahs

I don't think it will matter. My friend had his rims taken with the locks. They use a socket that pretty much rips the locks right off.

you only get like $30 for a set of heavy aluminum rims over here. Not sure what you guys get there but id thin they could atleast get $100-400 for just the rims itself on the street.

The spinners are very hard to remove because they key is on the inside. You would have to compress the spinner around the keyed area with a hammer or chisel pliers won't work makes a crap load of noise then pound a socket over and even then it might not work. I had to do it on my old truck when I bought it never came with a key
