Check Vigo's post. Easy cheap fix.

Edit: Cut blue wire....tap it in to the red with white stripe. Done

I might just do this. Sensors are already 9 years old.

Luck lasted until last Saturday. Guess it was good that I broke the valve stem, otherwise I wouldn't have known that the life span for those TPMS would be around 7 to 10 years.

BTW, also checked at servco about the stock lug nuts for the steel wheels. Guy said 7 something per nut. So a whole set of 6 should be around $45. Just a FYI.

So I went down to Maui today and talked to Jeff.... super cool.. told him what happened asked him if it was standard to have the line so close to a heat shield (i.e. heat source), they gonna take care of it (free of charge) later this month... appt was made..

Good to see some shops just doing the right thing, even though it's been more than a year out. I did tell him I've only used the locker a handful of times, and happened at pretty much the most inopportune time (in the mud, going up a hill, coming out of camp). He did say they may wrap it to make sure this time.... should I bring over some hose heat shield or something?? Lol

Fastenal part #0441394 is a "push to connect" coupling that can be used to repair your air line in the field. Just cut out the damaged part and push the two cut ends into the fitting. It's for a 5mm air line.(what our ARB air line is)

How old are those though. Then gotta add another 100 bucks for servco to program them. I think I'll just do the mod instead.

Really? I don't think I've ever seen those in costco here, or, I've just never looked hard enough.

I was just about to ask if anyone has been to Kaena Point lately and if they knew how it is now since they've bouldered up a a majority of the older trail accesses. I haven't been since they implemented the permit/gate code system but heard you don't even need 4x4 anymore as it's only the main road all the way now. Anyone want to chime in with this? I'm interested in going this Saturday if it's still decent. If not, we could do a morning/day trip to Peacock?

Nate...they have limited the area to a series of beach access roads off the main road, but the markers are barely visible anymore. No upkeep by the state since it was marked...o_O Although you don't need 4X4 it would still be handy if there was mud. Place can be quite awash after a rain. I would love to join you, but got daddy duties this weekend.. Daughter swims on Saturday.. And...I need atleast a couple weeks to admire my clean truck I just spent 4 hours cleaning...lmao! I'm down in the near future though!!

Shoots sounds good! Lemme see if the wifey wants to come with but I'm down for sure. I need to call DLNR because I stopped getting the weekly gate code text messages when I switched cell phone carriers. You guys all have the permits correct?
