Retrofits are installing HID projectors, not just an HID bulb with ballasts.

Oh let's not just "nominate" anyone. I'm looking for a professional shop to start putting these together. It's no wonder that even some of the top import shops here send theirs out. It seems easy enough to me but if it was why aren't more shops doing it? I know it's not because there isn't any money in it.

All joking aside I totally agreed with you on the professional side. But imagine if you started it here you looking at big bucks since nobody else builds. I was hoping to find a good shop that would do it but couldn't get any recommendations so here is were I go to

Oh it's nothing against him, I'm just surprised at what "seems" to be so simple nobody will do it. Cause at a grand that's $700 in parts and at least $100 an hour for labor. I mean the video says it only takes half a day with most of time tied up in opening and resealing.

Morimoto mini h1/d2s projectors are a straight forward install if thats all you're looking for but those fx-r projectors are a whole new story. I wouldnt trust myself doing that install. Cutting the reflector bowl and aligning the projectors is a biatch.

But like i found out with mine the morimoto mini d2s projectors still need to be aligned because of the way toyota cocked the bulbs slightly to the right. There is an alignment tab that needs to be grinded down in order to do so.
