No these are sold outright. You buy them and install them.

Honestly, rear ended or not, If I had to pick front or rear, I'd go rear. Stock, our trucks already have pretty good approach angle, but horrible departure. If you drag your rear bumper off roading, it will peel back badly. The sheet metal its made from isn't much thicker than the body work. there are a few pics of trucks with the stock rear bumper shaped like a horseshoe from dragging their ass on the trail. Also I'm more worried about one of Oahu's awesome drivers rear ending me than I am of me hitting someone or something. If someone rear ends you, its almost guaranteed to damage your bedsides too. Finally, rear plate bumpers are pretty inconspicuous. Unless you go swing out and/or high clearance. I even have a friend with rear swingout but running stock front, and his truck looks sick!
But we all have different tastes. We want what we want. And we want them for different reasons.
Either way sorry about your truck :(

I think I'd agree with this. some idiot showing off his G35 at Farrington and Ft. Barette failed to recognize that I was stopped, and murdered my tow hitch. luckily, I have a little lift in the rear, cause my tow hitch smashed/totaled and made a nice 4" hole in his hood. if it was any other vehicle, my bumper would've been smashed... I'm more worried about people rear-ending me than me smashing someone.

Already on order... But have to get the new tires mounted. I think Ivan and Rick need to invest in a tire install thingie..... lol

Ummmm.. yea.. that will do as well.... lol

Yes.. In the mainland where they need to worry about hitting deer, front does make a lot of sense.. I too am more worried about someone hitting me from behind. But does bring up a legal question.. Say someone hits you from behind.. Your steel rear bumper does what it is supposed to do, and you are safe. The other driver (on the other hand) isn't as lucky. Any possible action can be taken against you because you modified your vehicle? The stock rear is designed to "take the hit" and absorb impact... just a thought...

Cant be any worse than rear ending a semi truck, box truck, or truck with a lift gate.

That's what happens when you come on Tacomaworld. Spend money, mod, install, spend more money, explain to the wife why you need to spend the money, get more stuff, buy your wife the car she wants so you can spend more money on your truck....:rofl::rofl::rofl:
