Hey, for those of you running a armor bumper or any other gear (sliders or front bumper). what did you guys use to paint it? rattle can? bed liner? or spray gun?

I seen a guy on the free way this morning with a fully decked out taco (nice BTW!) and was trying to look at his bumper to see what he did but I couldn't really tell. He had a white painted front bumper with rails, black sliders, black rear which looked like an all-pro, and some roof racks.

 

Pretty sure you're talking about @squint0241 and his was powdercoated white.

 

26 violations isn't that bad...just under 2.5/month avg. hardly news-worthy, sounds like someone wants to

 

I'm picking up my sliders from @1uzrnr tomorrow. I'm planning on rattle canning it, primer + rustoleum... possibly satin black, but not 100% sure yet.

that's what I was thinking too... 3,000 permits, 26 violations, 11 months, and 10 of the 26 violations was for no permit, so really, it's 16 violations by permit holders. maybe they trying to get ammo to pull the permit system and shut it down completely.

 

Yeah because it takes the focus off crap they can't fix like homelessness and guys walking away from prison on a weekly basis...

maybe the state will finally see that they need to make more areas for legal off roading, then there will be much less illegal off roading

 

I'm not originally from Oahu, and I've only been here for 4 years, but wasn't there some off road park somewhere before? sand island? what ever happened to that?

 

We never had an OHV, there was only talk about it.

 

I wouldn't hold my breath although I wish it would happen. When it comes to motorized vehicles, our politicians SUCK in helpung us.

 

It was more for events not a go when you want kind of park......it dissolved

 

damn, I thought there was something. I think on youtube, it's called the "sandbox"... I swear there were other videos out there of some little dirt course with a but of technical obstacles and stuff.
