Only if you delete the cats off the headers.....thats when you'll need the device from URD

 

Yea there are 4 cats on the v6... Upstream and downstream.... Same with the o² sensors... If you take out the catalysts after the last o² sensor nothing happens... If you take out the cats before the last o² sensor you'll need the simulator... The downstream cats were probably there to keep the tacos in epa compliance... I'm sure its still clean with the upstream cats still in place... The upstream sensors run the fuel management.. The downstream sensors sole purpose is to check the health or tamper status of the cats...

 

The upstream sensors will create codes like "system too lean bank __" and the downstream sensors create codes like "catalyst below efficiency threshold"

But both sensors are heated and will create sensor heater circuit faults

You could try dipping them first.

So Rafeal stopped by this morning and checked out the AC. Turns out the drain plug was clogged and an auto-shutoff was engaged. Then we spent 20min talking Tacomas, since he just got one.

 

I dipped my old wheels, I might give it a shot. If I can get the bronze ones cheap, I will do that.

 

Ohh yeah I forgot about that float switch, but glad your ac is running again. Yup he just picked up a 1st gen Tacoma. Told him all the things he should do to his truck.

 

I told him to get on TW. He said he'd make an account tonight.

 

yeah there's a group of people who have been scoping out that parking lot. lifeguards have been warning everyone about it, but if you absolutely need to use the master lockbox, lock it to the fence near the rental office.

@TRDeeznutz - I'd have to agree with you, but I've scored days there where it's been better than town. variable wind, ssw long period swell, and mid tide. don't bring the dickdragger boards. LOL

 

My friend locks his on the fence too. And I only go to White Plains because I recently moved to makakilo. And let's face it, I'm no Rick Kane. I like my Sandys shorebreak. Lol

It won't as long as you leave the front cats in place.

 

Those have been happening so frequently, that it has been on the news. Those are not secure by any means and can be picked in under a minute. When I used to go to the beach I'd have that hidden and locked inside the car.
So I'd get in with my blank key, setting the alarm/starter kill off, then race to undo combo and turn off alarm. The micochipped key was hidden in another location, but I guess you could get another lockbox.
