    Only has compass. I think Toyota got rid of it at after a certain year(2012?) in favor of putting it in the head unit.

    Personally I wouldn't purchase it. The only advantage I see is viewing angle. You can pretty much watch it from the side.

    I reviewed both an opted for the flat panel. The off axis on it isn't so bad and to take advantage of the so called "immersion" you'd have have to be seated perfectly in the middle and rather close relative to a flat panel. I think it's purely a gimmick if you ask me.

    Appreciate it guys, yeah my buddy has the flat panel as well and I like it but started to fall for the gimmick/advertising as well for a minute but you may have helped me finally see pass the snake oil...Mahalo'z for the insight

    If you really want the best experience I suggest a projection system. No issues with viewing angles and the cost is comparable when looking at the high end 4K sets. Might as well watch a 100" screen vs a 65" 4K. Might not be what you were asking but I find many don't consider the projectors when shopping for a new TV.
