Nice, great process. I think you can get away with just 2 coats of sealant though.

Yeah I used to do two coats. But that was with the 24hr cure one. With this new 30min cure why not do a third lol

It's burgundy but the filter made it looked purple, but man I do look good in purple, so now I'm gonna go get some!

 

Took it off the "pavement " today and hit some clean swells! Gotta put the SR8 wheels on soon, so many Tacoma on this island, saw a bunch with new dealers tags on just like mine! Can't wait for a meet up! Next Mod is the truck bed rubber mat, door sil protector!

If someone does dip their chrome bumper please post pic, I like to dip it all black also or if possible color match.

Its pretty good, but I have only ever used Adams sealants so I have nothing to compare it to. Looks and feels he same as the origional one, but dries 48 times faster lol

 

I'm going to Servco, it's pretty cheap for both parts. I think the rubber mat is about $130 and $30 for the door sill

 

are you looking for a '16 dipped? @squint0241 had his rear bumper dipped before he got armor, but his isn't a '16. I think it's on his build page. how's the raynor's? green/black one looks mighty fun

 

I was a full on kook today, picked up the boards but I forgot I had him put FCS II in but I only brought my FCS I fins with me, but I took it out finless since I was itching to see how it goes! It floats and gets I the wave good but I was totally useless out there without a fin but I'm good now with the set up, swells is suppose to be good size till weds!

 

yeah, good sized til wednesday. GIANT/EDDIE-size on thursday.

@k3v11n - check buoys wednesday night. if the winds settle down, possible Eddie thursday morning. swell supposed to hit early thursday am.

 

I think if you ask nice enough, you can get the rubber bed mat for free. I got one without even asking

Yeah, I'm going to do that! The tinting guys didn't re-install my door handle plate back on, so my salesman was very apologetic so I'm gonna used that to my advantage! They worry about that sales survey!

 

since I get camper, I pack 2-3 every session.
