I emailed them and asked if they can do USPS, I'll let you know soon as they reply. I'd be down to split shipping. Hopefully they reply on tomorrow/Monday

Yeah they used to ship different carriers, but starting the 1st of the year they went fedex 2day. They shipped my 5x7 for $70 and it came in a 5' tube. For 2x5 they should better put it in a 2' tube lol.

When I did my tailgate 4 years ago it was $15 to ship, when I did my roof last year I split shipping with @kh7nm for his tailgate. This time for the hood I was going to eat the shipping but @someonenotnamed said he (or she?) wanted to order too so we split shipping. That's definitely the way to do it. And I placed my order on Saturday night, it shipped out the following Wednesday afternoon, and was delivered Friday morning.

My tip with the tailgate, make sure you go far enough under the handle. And wrap completely over the top of the tailgate overlapping a little to the inside. The tailgate cap doesn't cover edge to edge so you will see paint behind. And it goes without saying that a wet application with felt blade and a heat gun is the best way. Pull the blade, don't push it. Kinda like welding lol

Thanks for the info, but no worry. After this, I can put just about any pump in there. Hopefully the AEM lasts. It is totally overkill already.

No prob. Was this the Urd fuel pump kit that you used?

Yes I am using the Denso pump. My mechanic friend informed me about it.

Sorry, I didn't read your post well, haha. Yeah, its the URD, I figured I'd upgrade the pump and get the external filter for some peace of mind. Next up will be some blower maintenance, install the supergrip pulley, and then I think I'll stop there. It not fast by any means, but good enough for me. Gearing makes it fun too.

Are you auto? If you are, you should upgrade your valvebody. Makes a huge difference and will extend your transmission life.

Good to know. I thought I read that with control tac wet isn't recommended? Something about the water not coming out cause of all the micro groves in the adhesive. But you just did your hood and roof so I'm more inclined to listen to you lol.

Well dry works really nice with the air channels, but when I do it by myself I have to do wet because I can't place a 5x6 sheet by myself lol. Have to do it wet so I can move it around and get wrinkles out. With two people, the tailgate should be easy dry. Three or four for the hood.

    Just don't go too wet.
