Been hearing alot about hawaiian stanced tacomas and being i grew up there for a few years and have been back since and loved it I wanted to check out what this is all about. I see its about wide stance deep dish rims and bad ass lifted tacomas and sweet rides. Seen this pic and was wondering if i could get the spec on this. Dont think i want to go this extreme but i love the look and am interested if i could afford to pull off something close to it Maybe on a smaller scale all the way around. A little less lift a little smaller tire and not such a stretch on the tires.

Does anyone know the specs on this or maybe who owns it and or where i could find a build thread or something.

Just Bought a 2015 LB dbl cab 4x4 sport. We LB guys have to go a little wider than you short box guys to truly get our trucks to look just right. That's just my opinion. really interested in how much lift? How wide are those rims? What offset and back space. Tires size? Any wheel spacers? Its a little extreme but totally bad ass.

looks like a 3 inch body lift on top of a 6 drop bracket lift. Think the tires look like 33x12.5 stretched on a 15 inch wide rim. maybe im just guessing

 

So maybe i should shoot for a 6 inch lift, same tires and a 12 wide rim? I need to find that set up and see if that gives me the look im looking for. Just checked a couple of different brands of tires they say on a 33/12.50/17 max rim width should be 11 inches so a 12 wide will give it a lil stretch but not much.

You can stretch those tires in a 17×14..we used to put 33/12.5s on 15x14s and 31/10.5s on 15x12s.

A 12.5 wide tire on a 12wide wheel doesn't have that "stretched" look..

 

i need some pics of say a 12.5 wide tire on a 14 inch wide rim say a 17 by 14 rim.

 

I have a friend that actually got a ticket for bringing a dog into Kaena point. And the dog was in the truck when they got the ticket. I've brought my dogs with me many times.

 

So I hear some of you guys want to come up to peacock flats for the day?
I'll lead pinstripes are cool right?
