Its so good not to have to deal with all the slammed car woes anymore. Driveways, speed bumps, parking curbs, and Oahu's shitty roads.

Best one I've seen was a slammed 240 trying to angle into the driveway at ward warehouse. He went too slow, and got stuck with his rear wheel in the air. It was too funny. Guess that's why you should run lsd or at least know the handbrake trick. All show, but no go!

hahah now thats just straight ridiculous but naw i know i know its just the same when you lift your truck it gets addicting to go bigger:p i am honestly perfectly fine with my set up any lower would be ridiculous i still hang turns and fly 90+ on freeway no problem i mean i don't scrape every single speed bumps but larger ones yes, steep driveways yes, but the truck is still very much drivable haha i want the best of both worlds one day

thats hilarious hahah i remember when i only had my remit i took my first truck to my friends house got the shock plate hung up on the speedbump cause i angled wrong and one wheel was up in the air haha i was shitting bricks but we literal used a brick under the wheel and got me out since that day I've always been scared of literally getting hung up however i have never gotten hung up since

agreed Oahu roads suck ass and i hate dancing around every dayum hole but o well lifted can't get into Hawaii parking structures, stalls are too small lowered trucks can't make em in our stupid small ass driveways and roads suck hahaho well:p i guess I'm all show but i push my 4 banger for go heheh its hard going from a v8 to a 4 banger and not getting happy with the foot

Heyyyyy I use to rock the no fat chicks sticker on my other truck hahaha o love funny stickers I'd never make my gf push my truck that's just fucked up I've seen some Hondasslammed and i wonder how they can even drive

sandys was pretty fun the other day. and its so true i dont even go waikiki anymore kuz i know i cannot make it in any garages. i sitting just a lil under 7 ft at the roof. I finally got my old antenna so im gunna take of my shorty and trim the antenna just to the height of my truck so i know when its too high for the garges haha :p

oh and on a side note. my passenger inner cv boot finally tore .... that damn spring is not compressed enough kuz the driver side is fine.... anyone know any quick fixes. im gunna just run it till the spring finally settles then ill replace it. any risks in doing that??? i dont want to seize my wheel or anything but i know its just gunna rip the next one if i replace it now.

Worst thing that'll happen is sand and shit will get in the boot and slowly start wearing the cv joint in those front axles. A new boot is cheap, just have to pull the axle and replace it. Otherwise, it'll be roughly 100 for a new front axle.

on hondas we used to just swap the whole axle instead of replacing the boots cause you have to do all the labor anyway to pull the axle.

yeah i just saw a video on youtube some guy using a bike tire tube to make a patch that wraps around the torn boot and put zipties through it... might try that or i think i saw a split boot cv fix kit on another forum. but sold by autozone.

for now im just gunna put in some heavy royal purple grease and try patch it with that tire maybe unless i can actually find a split boot cover like that other forum said.

maybe wrap it with duct tape and zip-tie in the ridges...

I'd opt for a new axle, only because I hate rebuilding the boots

yeah only reason im not going to do a new axle yet is because it will only tear again. my passenger side is a bout 1 inch higher than the driver side kuz of a new coilover... the spring is not settled. too much angle on the cv

The new spring is going to take a few thousand miles to settle. I would replace the boot an maybe remove the spacer till then? We should have seen this coming :(
