    Got my permits today. A lot quicker than I thought. Clerk said the other day had a guy fill out 100 permits lol. He was at the desk filling out paperwork for 2 hours fkn crazy

    Yeah, I polished off the rust before covering the shafts with fluid film
    just irked that they're rusting again since I already send them in for rusting shafts earlier.

    That rust is one of two things... They rods weren't treated correctly for corrosion resistance, or, you need roost guards to keep rocks from hitting them and chipping the surface

    im betting on the first, though I have wheeled these a little

    The Fox's started rusting a few weeks after i installed them initially...before they were ever wheeled.
    Now they're starting to rust again

    which leads me to believe it's just a fox thing in their shaft prep, though im not too sure exactly what steel they use for their shafts

    In other news I ordered some switches, new headlight assemblies, and other misc maintainence items for the truck to do some touch up work besides the rustproofing
    need to get some wrench time in on tiana, and wanna get my fogs installed finally

    then I noticed


    I sent everything I ordered to my oahu address instead of to the big island (where I am now)
