Somebody selling 880 for 80 bucks. That's kinda why I'm looking for answers if I should pull these 620s and pick up the 880

880 is stiffer you don't want or need that

620 is fine, your drop bracket probably weighs enough to compensate between 600 and 620

wait, maybe you're talking OME language and not spring rate

googled it, OME 880 881 both 500 lb coils 881 is 10 mm longer, providing more lift

you need to know how long your eibachs are, what your bilsteins are set at (5100s?)

too many variables for me to look up for you

500lb spring would theoretically ride way better than a 620, but you wouldn't get the lift that you said you needed to clear tires

Yeah the 5100 are at 0. Coils brought the truck up 2 3/4-3" more (I guesstimated)

If you were a mid travel set up I could help you but I have no idea when it comes to DB :notsure:
Not thinking the 620 or 880 is the spring rate so forget what I said earlier.....I can only speak in spring rate...but more than likely the rate of your springs are to much or they are to long, my guess would be the length if you got that much lift after install.

I think so too. I noticed the ride got rough after I installed the new eibach coils. But I wasn't sure if adding more weight will help (bumper skid winch) that's kinda why I asked how ur ride

Would the Eibach 620# spring be enough for a aluminum plate bumper and winch?

I wouldn't run less than 700lb springs. Even though the aluminum bumper is fairly light the winch will drop it down in the front and you'll have to adjust the pre-load on the coils to compensate for droop. Then you get less travel. That's why I went 700's. Rides perfect and not much pre-load adjustment compared to the lighter coils.

I have a steel bumper, blower, and a winch, and I think my 600lb coils are fine.
To get the same amount of lift between a 600lb col and a 700 lb coil of equal length, the same force is applied to the spring. The 600 naturally having more preload to achieve this.

With softer springs, the only way you would lose travel is if the coils are touching each other before you hit your bumpstops. If your spring is too stiff and your truck is too light, may lose travel because you can't fully cycle the suspension. (unless you're jumping the truck)

Ride quality is subjective, each person thinks their truck should ride a certain way. Someone made the comment to me that riding in my truck was more comfortable (softer) than one with 700 lb springs, but I haven't ridden in one with 700s personally.
