We were down at the lake also. Got there when it was packed and had to park in the back. I saw your truck as we were leaving.

CR Imports will square you away. A little more money upfront but more lenient.

Yea the rumble makes it sound angry! The added timing and boost make are like poking a bear when you smash da skinny pedal @TRDeeznutz haha... I needed something, either a whistling tune or a rumble... After the poll i went with the rumble... Linked is a video of the whistling tune that i opted out of...
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3eznE_PHiU

I gave him some timing and some boost, that woke it the f*ck up!

    Edit
I pulled all that timing and boost back out
I got word from a friend that another 2.8 Duramax had a rod let go. This is the second confirmed reporting that I personally know of. BOTH of these guys have compound turbos and make 560 ft/lb. That's rediculous considering these are 4 cylinders and only a hundred CC's over the 2.7L 2TR. It's scary to make even minor changes because the upper failure limits are changing too...

Yup. They're just sitting in storage waiting to be assembled. Lol
If you know anyone interested lmk, I'll let them go for dirt.
I'd love to keep them for another build, but probably won't be able to start on anything new for awhile. And if I were to SAS the taco, I wouldn't want to run these 8" toy based axles. Probably step it up 9.5's.

Called CR this morning and I guess they are back in operation. Going tomorrow morning early.
If I don't pass, looks like I'm gonna go entirely back to stock so I can pass safety and get it registered. Wife needs everything legal and legit before I ship out.

lol, is there such a thing?? I always drove to Waianae to do anything DMV related, but I lived in Kapolei, so it was only 20 mins away. every other DMV location is typically gonna be a clusterfuck. although, looking at the cameras, they all look good, so if you can, go now. lol
    http://www3.honolulu.gov/csddlline/

edit: sorry, registration you said. I've been to Kapolei once for that, and there wasn't a line. most of the people are there for DL things... I believe registration is a completely separate line/area
