Any upgraded bulb in a stock housing is gonna be blinding and horrible displacement of light...the only way to get a better/safer light output is retros....at least I would imagine...but im no light guru

 

I no but i dont wanah mess with retros anymore. Nothing wrong with aiming them lower an throwing a set of eyelids on.

 

Can anyone recommend a good paintless dent repair shop? I got some new door dings and minor dents popping up out of nowhere on my truck and it irks me. Lol. Definitely one of my pet peeves.

 

The 3rd gen comes with projector lens. Although the stock bulb is halogen. I put in LED bulbs in the projector and they are pretty dang good. Way better than when I had HIDs in my old 4Runner with no projectors hahah. That thing scattered light everywhere and was super blinding for oncoming cars. Sucks for them Nah, jk it's actually a safety concern and blinding the oncoming guy is no bueno cuz they could potentially swerve into you.

 

ive always wondered how hid lights work in halogen projectors

since theyre still projectors, but the halogen filament light source is much shorter than a xenon bulb, so the focus areas will be different between the two

 

Wife's integra has halogen projectors. I put a morimoto hid kit, works fine. I didn't take notice of bulb length, but it has a decent cut off for a 20 year old projector. I don't think people can notice the beam focus since the output is so much greater with the hids.

Did you have any problems getting to hooks in between the coils or did you have to modify the compressor? I appreciate the offer I got so sick of rubbing my tires that I threw my stock wheels on the front and have an appointment at maui offroad on the 5th but definitely going to buy a set for the future.

 

Where are you running? What tire size and wheel offset?

the suspension is the 2.5 king's up front with the 2.0's in the rear with an Icon mini AAL and I don't have any problems in the back, I wish I took height measurements of my pro comp kit before I took it off. for the tires I have the KO2's 285/70/17's and I can't remember what the offset of my wheels are.
