My neighbor had similar looking compressors and they wouldn't fit in between the coils and I didn't want to shave to hook down and make it easier for it to slip out while cranking on it

 

You dont cut that much off. It wont hurt your truck.

to those that have the All Pro bolt-on sliders: did you guys paint/coat the nut backing plates prior to install? I think there's like 3-4 per side.

 

They are probably zinc coated, but painting them won't hurt!

Just came in today

 

Finally got around to watching it...

I think the fire pit part was cool... still had fire burning in the wheel... thought the older videos were better that it seemed like one continuous race sequence....

 

Anybody know of a good exhaust/muffler shop that won't BS me, break the wallet, or freak out that I've got no lower CATs?

Thinking I got a blown upper cat or a cracked exhaust manifold.

Symptoms: Rattling/clicking noises and loose air sounds during idle and acceleration.

Previously thought it was flange gaskets but the symptoms never entirely went away.

Can you do a custom crossover? And also, I had to cut off my doug thorley header flange to clear my top link...

Shit if u can get a pipe bender i think you'd have something going for u on top of wat u already do for da boys!!!

 

I almost bought one... But considering the cost of a bender, and comparing to the price of pre fabbed bends, might be cheaper in the long run to just buy the prefab mandrel bends. It would be a long time before I saw my ROI come back... My welder has a very short ROI because I'm always gonna have work for that thing to do for me, I may not always have work for the tube bender and may have to send him home short on hours. A cheaper bender can be had, nmbut nobody likes crush bends.. Shit with the welder and some steel I can make a crush bender

 

Yep, need to weld my cats back on, and some kind of flange or low profile connector to go from the headers to the Y pipe. Won't be back on the ground for awhile tho.

 

I HAD access to a nice ercolina mandrel bender until I quit my job

 

Look on vibrant performance and buy vband flanges... Keep in mind I don't keep gas and wire on hand for stainless.... If you spend money on stainless flanges I can weld them on, but the weld won't have the same properties as the flange itself..

 

just get some stainless tig wire, easy
