since I don't have a camper top, I just made a frame out of PVC pipe that fits in the back of my truck and used a canvas from an old pop up tent to make the truck bed into a sleeping area.

Yeah, that always made me laugh...
No camping gear, except a for a pop up tent with no more than two sides, and pretty much everything I always take camping. If dogs were allowed in there, I would do more overnights there "not camping"

I was just on the road, and I saw the most interesting setup...2nd gen with Icon CO's and billet UCA's. CO's had maybe 2" of thread above the collar. it was finished off with a 3" revtek spacer on the CO :cookiemonster:

I've been looking into trimming the fenders for 35's and re-gear. I don't see that happening anytime soon now lol. Baby and new baby-mobile coming soon

Maybe it was a 6" drop bracket, and they ditched the 6" coil spacer for a 3" lift coil-over and 3" spacer. Just my guess

I 'd bet the uniballs on his UCA's are now his limit straps because of that 3" spacer. And his coilovers are his bumpstops, unless he made a 3" spacer for the bumps too.

And I wonder if a local 4x4 shop installed it like that for him?

You sure was a 3" spacer? I wonder because IIRC revtek has a 3" kit that uses a spring pre load spacer and a to coilover spacer together, so maybe he just had half...
Either way, its like my truck, ghetto mid travel. You space the top down, so that your shocks don't fully extend out over bumps with the lift height. Basically, he made the spacer for extra travel while maintain lift height. But compression travel is reduced.

    Dumb mainlander question:

Will alignment shops freak out over wheel spacers or changes to your recon?
