I like mine for the beach. It has enough water and pressure to rinse off all of my beach gear, kids, wife and myself when we go somewhere that doesn't have running water. Two of these would be ideal. Water pressure almost always runs out before the water does. So, I just hook up my small air pump to it and repressurize it. Definitely getting my monies worth out of it.

Why buy 2??? Why not just bring a 5 gal water container, refill, and repressureize? I know you would have to figure out how to refill but you could probably figure out a way...

I was gonna buy a Cornelius keg, put a valve stem and fitting for water hose. Holds 5gal and most already have OBA to repressurize. 515986139.jpg

nice, yeah, this wouldn't be ideal for camping, but where we go camp here on the BI, there's a few brackish ponds around. we usually just jump in, swim and rinse the salt off and we good to go. lol. here's a sick brackish pond we hit up every day... about 15' deep in the middle.

I was thinking more like day tripping to beaches or places without running water. so let me ask this: is it difficult to repressurize with a bike or hand pump?

I lol'd like a damn idiot in the office just now. lol

Any one selling a factory steel 17" Tacoma 6 lug rim? I upgraded to 17" rims from 16" and now I would like get a steel 17" rim for my spare.

    Aloha Kaena Permit Holders:

This is a reminder that the Kaena Point State Park Reserve (Mokuleia Side) is not a designated off-road vehicle recreation area. We are hearing that some applicants and permit holders believe that recreation vehicle use is an acceptable and appropriate use despite permit conditions and park regulations prohibiting activities generally associated with off-road recreation. This includes mud-bogging, repeatedly driving up and down slopes and embankments, racing through muddy road segments, and freely driving across the landscape. Intentionally driving off designated roads and damaging park property, vegetation, and natural features is prohibited and can result in citations and/or cancellation of permits. This permit is meant to allow vehicle access for uses such as fishing, sightseeing, swimming, picnicking, cultural practices, and enjoying the outdoors. It is not a place to deliberately test a vehicle’s cross-country abilities or to challenge a driver’s skills on rough terrain.

This permit process was established in 2014 specifically to address years of uncontrolled off-road vehicle use that contributed to the continuing degradation of the park’s landscape and vegetation. Particularly troubling is the role off-road vehicle use plays in increasing erosion rates and the resulting damage to coastal waters caused by runoff.

Please respect our coastal landscapes and efforts to manage and protect them. Also, please be considerate of other park users who come to appreciate our shorelines without the excessive noise of off-road recreation activities.

Stay safe and hope you enjoy the coming summer months.

Nah super easy to presurize. I use a weak pump I picked up from costco. Feel like my OBA would be too much for it...lol

Cause I mostly hit up the beach and places where if there isn't any running water that 2 would be good. I hardly camp at Peacocks like the rest of you. And anywhere else you go camp there's usually water source.

Edit: I have yet to camp at Peacocks

Ummm. Not sure if you read the post correctly... was commenting on bringing a 5gal container (with water) and refill your current waterport... save you $$ rather than buying 2 units... but if $$ tree is in full bloom.... lol

Edit: if it is in full bloom, could I get an ARB 65 fridge???? :fingerscrossed:

I know a guy who did something similar but with water cans... :spy:

yeah, that's what I had in mind for a waterport. I mean, one of those blue 7 gallon containers is like $17 at walmart, but having to hold that shit up while everyone is rinsing off sucks balls.

my other issue is mounting the damn thing. waterport offers a bed rail mount for $80 more, which looks exactly the same as the relentless hi-lift mounts I sold for half that price :bananadead: I was thinking about just using like titan straps or something to strap/hang them on the bed rail tie downs. keep in mind, this isn't like a permanent mount... just using it for day trips. you guys think that would work?

like I said I love mine. Only down side is you can't refill it. You need to hook it up to a water hose since the port is under pressure.
