    That's hilarious... Hawaii News Now interviews a truck guy who said he got citations for a "legal truck" "with recon"... huge swampers, sticking out way out, with no flares...

    Hmmmmm... I wanna see the recon sheet... bad as well, they also showed a YouTube video with burnouts galore... hmmmm. Wonder why truck cruises are getting a bad rap...

    Yep... I was going to link the story, but the video wasn't posted yet... if that truck, with those tires have recon no flares needed...... then somethings wrong......

    Unless the guy bought the truck on CL with the seller saying "get recon", and he just unknowly thinks it's legal...

    I swear they put the dumbest people on the news. My truck stay legal(illegal tint, no flares, no mud flaps, and light bar exposed), we are getting harassed. You wouldn't get tickets if you followed the rules. Yea recon is stupid but you don't follow, you get a ticket. This guy wants sympathy from me he can find in the dictionary between shit and syphilis.

    Recon rules are there for a reason. I put flares and mudflaps to pass recon, but I'm leaving them on just to be considerate. Don't need front mudflaps for recon, but I put some on anyway. I've been hit with a rock before while on the freeway. A few times got hit in the neck when I used to ride bike. I don't want to be throwing rocks at other drivers, or myself...
    I bet cops wouldn't bother if it was a positive truck cruise. Maybe should call it Almighty beach cleanup? :cool:
