Yea man this shit was nuts. Last night was crazy the whole community is devastated. Details are still coming out but I think these two cronics were squatting in that house and she showed up to clean it. That shit could have happened to any house up here, idk wtf is going on but the N shore got real dirty real quick the last two years.

It's everywhere though... I read somewhere the girl is someone's daughter they were worried about? Apparently the boy is bad news and a heroine junkie? Idk how much I buy any of what I read, but it's not unbelievable. Drugs are taking a toll on people world wide. I used to think mrsa was going to be the next "cleansing" of the earth... Now I think it's gonna be drug zombies
I know of people I grew up with who refused to leave their ways behind... They aren't doing well now. They used to be the type of people I would hang out with so often they more or less lived with me at my mom's. When I deployed and subsequently repatriated, it was all changed when I got home

Yea man, power to the people! This was all Facebook, the North Shore Community Hub and Stolen Stuff Hawaii groups had hundreds of posts and shares in the first hour. Someone shard a post from the day before saying a kid with green hair and girl were missing, he had a felony warrant out for beating up women and they are both druggies, and he had green hair in the pic. Witch hunt begins.

HPD said they WERE NOT the suspects and told everyone to stop the witch hunt

People spot the car at walmart and call the police, lynch mob shows up at the shopping center. Well what do you know the same kid and girl are there 100 yards from the stolen truck... and HPD says they're not being charge for the homicide yet, they got arrested for his warrant and her for stealing the truck. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!

You do need to understand why they did that though.... Imho, I would rather see the criminal get away, than the wrong people be implicated and hurt, or worse, killed... The bad guy will inevitably be caught with the support of the entire island, but the damage done to an innocent person could span their entire life

I mean I completely understand that side of it, but when the suspects are narrowed down to maybe a dozen people with green hair on island, how are you gonna tell the public NOT to help? And I hate to say it but the bad guys don't get caught here most of the time. I know of 3 or 4 homeless camps that a guy could disappear in for months, we all know HPD doesn't go anywhere near them.

I guess my opinion is a little different when I personally had HPD tell our neighborhood "sorry we have a lot of ground to cover, call 911 more". "give him lickens then give us a call". Both are direct quotes from officers to me and both are the wrong answer. I've had to call the cops once and when I pointed out the guy who tried to jack my 4R, the cop looked at him then gave my friend shit for following him. She literally stared at the suspect as he drove by in a truck with me pointing and yelling "THAT's HIM!" and she didn't chase, 30 seconds after telling me it's a felony offense. My family has a lot of law enforcement officers in it, and I've supported the blue my whole life, but my personal experience in my time in Hawaii has really made me lose faith.

I went to the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet with some friends, visiting for the Honolulu Marathon, on Saturday; was my first time. We were standing in front of my truck talking 15-20 minutes before we walked in. When I got in my truck to leave I noticed my grill-

I’ve parked in a parking garage three times near Ala Moana Center, each time someone kicked in or pulled my front license plate up, bending the shit out of it. Someone have something against Washington plates? I’m trying my damn hardest not to feel a certain way about folks here, but I’m starting to notice certain things that’s disturbing me. For example, saw some obese pos wearing a shirt that said “American by force” smh

Are you implying that someone pulled your grill off at the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet or hit your truck while you were away from your truck? If that's the case, that's awful. No dash-cam to record the incident? Makes me want to install a dash-cam now.

I haven't heard of anyone bending or kicking in front license plates. Is your license plate a vanity/custom plate that could offend someone? Just curious because this is the first I've heard someone else bending another person's license plate on purpose.

My previous Hawaii state Combat Veteran plate was stolen before. Not sure what to make of that besides crooked thieves trying to do no good with stolen plates.

I hope your time here improves. Have you been to the Iolani Palace? Good place to learn some of the history of Hawaii and why someone would wear a shirt like that. Who knows, that guy might not even be Hawaiian. LOL.

As if you needed an excuse! Hahaha

I had one for 4 years on my last car, never needed it for anything. I've had my new car 6 weeks, Friday morning merging from H2 to H1 some dumb middle aged lady comes across 4 lanes from H1 in her benz, no turn signal, all 4 lanes wide open in front of her, and she just kept coming all the way to the HOV lane. I was cruising in the left lane, had the brake through the floorboard with two feet, had to be 3 or 4 inches from her bumper. She didn't even notice.

You know me too well, John! Ha! :D

And this is the second incident I recently heard of someone changing lanes and almost running into another vehicle on H1. My wife's co-worker almost got run off the highway in a very similar scenario. Stay frosty out there, fellas.

This is only about the last statement in the top paragraph. HPD does visit homeless camps. I been apart of many homeless enforcement operations within the last year. Some examples would be Kaiaka Beach Park/Black Sands Beach, long bridge which is the one near Haleiwa Elementary School and Mokuleia Army beach. Another homeless sweep we do is whats called an SPO or stored property ordinance. Basically we go to all the C&C beach parks and remove the homeless that are staying their at night when the beach park is closed. We are aware of other homeless encampments in the north shore like Weed Cirlce, Velzyland, the one by sharks cove near ke ike rd and the one near sunset elementary school.

The problem with this is that we are only displacing them from one area to another. Its not solving the problem is only moving it. HPD can only do so much but at some point its the people that were displacing that has to make a change.
