I’m pretty sure they’re the same offset as their beadlock wheels (+10mm). You should be good with 285s without trimming after a lift.

Lol some of these Craigslist ads crack me up. More or less saying the cars a total piece of shit and barley runs but it has cold AC. Ahaha I get it’s hot here but damn need some better lines than ac is cold.

Also I know it’s a shot in the dark but anyone on here selling a decent A to B car for $1500 or less that isn’t gonna cost me more than the car itself to get running? Wife needs a car to get to her appointments and I feel bad she has to come to work with me every day and sit in the truck all day for a 30min appointment.

Depends how long you need it to run for. If it needs to run for a couple years, then good luck with that! lol

Did you check the lemon lots? Online version is here:

That's a tough budget to work with. I was looking for a beater around that price and had to up my budget to around 2500 to get something remotely decent. Might want to consider that especially if it's for the wife to drive. I hate the "Run cherreh. Cold AC, but back tax 2 years." Or "Run good but salvage title only because small fender bender on the bumper."

No I haven’t checked that site. I’ll look. And we need it to run for 3 years.

For that long, you'll end up paying more than $1500 in maintenace/repairs easily. It might not seem like a big deal, but once you factor in lost time trying to schedule repairs and time waiting for parts (which take forever sometimes), then it becomes more trouble than it's worth.

I'd also recommend what @k3v11n said and look for something closer to the $3k range just to save you and your wife some headache in the long run.

Remember, when you go to sell it, it won't depreciate as much as a new vehicle does and you're not racking up a lot of miles on this island even if you try. So you'll make back a lot of that $3k back as long as you keep it clean and maintained properly (especially that AC...lol).

Easier said than done, but if you dish out 4-6k for an older T4R or something, you'll get the same price when you sell it down the road.

When you want an island beater, you really want an “island beater” not a 1500 dollar piece of shit.

Hahaha alright guys I appreciate the advice. My wife finally doesn’t want to spend more $$ On something so we are gonna look at a few cheap ass $1500 beaters but if they aren’t good I’ll up the budget and get a 3-5k car
