Yea.. saw that guy on CL..

I "may" need another battery if and when I get a winch..

 

I am running lights and a winch off of this sol battery. Will be a long while before I run dual batteries. Smaller than Tacoma's stock battery, but has a great back up storage.

 

Why didn’t you get a battery that was same size?

 

The battery I got is a little lower then the stock size battery. The replacement optima is alot smaller in size compared to stock.I wanted to fit the largest battery in the same footprint. Which it did, and got a higher capacity battery with 870 CA, 750 CCA AND 120 RC.

Has anyone here gone through Servco to replace their needle bearing after installing a lift? It seems unlikely to me that they’ll cover it under warranty, but I figured since there’s so many lifted Tacomas here then it may be a common thing at Servco.

 

They’re not gonna cover that, but good luck.

 

Asshole on Hasse beach on the marine base got stuck. Comes in gunning through the sand and now he’s stuck.

Update he’s out of the pit but messed up something in his truck. The Jeep that pulled him out is basically stock except for front bumper and winch. I would have helped but my baby is napping and there is no way in hell im waking the baby up during her nap.

 

I was able to get mine replaced after installing my lift. granted I had mine done in the mainland so IDK how strict they are here but it can be done under warranty.

 

Anyone ever done wheeling on schofield? I seen a spot off south range road. I didn’t want to go down it alone not being familiar with the area. Plus a Jeep was coming up the trial.

 

I haven’t, but have seen video clips.

 

Maybe I’ll get someone to go with me and bring the GoPro out to get some video for everyone. I didn’t see anything on YouTube.

Nah they don’t they don’t even go back there..but ya it’s pretty fun I tried to upload the vids on here but an error message keeps popping up. Where the cross hair is is the entrance to the trail

 

Yah my wife’s GPS tried taking me off post that way. Maybe next weekend I’ll check it out
