is that 2 or 4 fenders?

he is sort of a perfectionist when it comes to color matching and painting, do the job correct once.

Just the front 2. I get being a perfectionist and painting is tedious especially when trying to get a "perfect" match. But idk felt 800 for 2 small fenders was a lot. I'll shop around though and who knows maybe that's actually cheap. Haven't shopped for a painter in years. Also to his defence I heard the gray in 2nd gems was one of the hardest to color match. Idk if that's true though didnt look into it personally

Fiberglass can be tricky to color match as well as not fun to sand. Definitely fit the fenders on the truck prior to paint

Mine are still the white they come in. Dont want to run them without paint. I have seen the red dirt here stain unpainted ones red.

Why fit them before paint? Seems easier to bring them in separately. Or is that just so they can have a better reference to try and match too?

Have you had them installed already to check fit? May need to trim or redrill mounting holes. I wouldn’t want to do that to freshly painted fenders

You bring up a really valid point. Never thought of that. Guess I just figured since they were used they would fit. Thanks for the advice guess I know what I'm doing today.
