So here’s my review not that it matters. Quick and great throttle response time fun to drive and very fuel efficient. Seats arent very comfortable, feels like my ass is going to get a raspberry from scraping the ground. Terrible visibility. Also has a giant screen in the middle that sits on top of the dash right in the middle.

 

Visibility was always my complaint with the current gen corollas, pretty unfortunate that the hatch doesn't help it

 

Hope you guys can help. I'm trying to install crossover steering on a old Dodge truck with a Dana 60. Shipping the DOM tubing from the mainland is super expensive. Is there anyone or any place that stocks DOM tubing size 1 1/2"OD x 1/4" wall thickness on the island? On average i'm getting quotes of over $100 just to ship from the mainland. Thanks for any help you can give.

Let's say I know a guy who's safety inspection lapsed, what would he need to do to get safety inspection. Are there any penalties or more paperwork, or must go to DMV first or can go get the inspection as if nothing lapsed?

 

if your reg hasn't expired then just go down and get a new safety, no penalty. If the reg is expired then you gotta do the safety/registration/safety shuffle dance

anyone got a stock y pipe laying around? I'm putting in some headers but want to keep my y pipe stock to keep it from getting too raspy/droning but my y pipe is pretty rusty.

Anyone know the height clearance at Blaisdell? my4runner clears about 6'9. anyone know? wife wants to take the 4runner but i dont' know if it will clear.

 

What kind of headers you putting in? I have the stock y-pipe with dougthorley long tubes an it still kinda raspy on take offs

Just note too that the registration says something like, “submit vehicle safety if done after ____date”. Never had to do that, but I know it’s there..

 

jba long tubes, what kinda muffler u got? My mbrp catback is pretty mild so hopefully it's not too raspy.

 

I had the same setup bought but decided not to install them. Just wasn't worth the work to install them. But, a lot of people added in a resonator to mute the rasp.
