How does your truck handle at Peacock Flats? With or without load.

I went up to the flats with no load and on the first setting on RXTs, I didnt go off the main trail, but it did really well. I didnt air down so it was a little bumpy , had no traction issues, didnt need to engage the locker at all, but overall pretty impressed with the way the truck handled the flats. I would buy again/recommend to others.

I’ve heard they’re decent kits, but there’s the old adage that the more parts you have, the easier it is to break too.

Am I required to have recon after changing my tires from 265/65R17 to 265/70R17 with OEM rims?

Get a crock pot and do it yourself or go L&L. It’s super easy to make.

No its a leaf pack with one extra leaf.
I don't know why they call it stages.
RXT pack is less spring rate than OEM= more comfortable, cant handle as much load
Swap AAL for an existing leaf for 10% more spring rate
Add the AAL to the pack for 20% added rate.

Nothing new here, same technique the Dakars with AAL have been applying.
They add the AAL and remove an overload, or leave it in. Or you can remove the third leaf from the Dakar pack to reduce spring rate.

I need to redo my safty and registration. My horn doesnt work right now (clock spring is out) until I get the time and funds to fix it. Does anyone know a shop I can get my safty st that will let that go or I can pay to ignore things? If so where, how much, and do I call and ask for someone specific ahead of time?

You can still pass! I'll wire you a horn button. Main thing is that there is a clear decal showing a horn function (which I have spares of thanks to @seoulja99), and that the function works. Cannot be wired in all janky either... Lmk if you want to entertain that or I can change your clocksoring and do your abs resets after

    Edit
There is the good ole 30 day safety as well
Take it in, and fail. You have temp safety for 30 days which is good to get registration renewed with. Then go back when it's fixed to have the inspection competed at no add'l charge assuming you're within 30 days

Lift? Yea I got one of those
Just an FYI, Mod Industries will be moving locations to someplace on Nimitz according to Dave. I think he said going be near the fire station. Luckily he fit me into his schedule on Monday, before his move. But phone # is the same. Bigger shop/location. Good thing too, if I ever wanna go 37s, truck needs to be able to fit into his shop lol :D

So, if I went with 275/70R17 then I would need recon? Or would still be in the clear?

Recon. You’re going up an inch, and safety will almost certainly fail you unless you know a guy that knows a guy.

I see. But if I have 265/70R17 (Stock is 265/65R17) would that still need recon? I apologize if I’m repeating myself. Lol
