where do people buy steel front bumpers from?

 

Universal4x4 is doing free shipping on all-pro, low range and trail gear products until the end of the month. They do this I think about every 3 months or twice a year. That’s your best option if you want free shipping. Or you could try and set up a group buy with one of the companies. But might be a little hard pressed to pull that one off. Think people might be a little gun shy to do group buys after pelfrybuilt stole a bunch of people’s money.

 

Could also work with vendors who ship pallets out here on a routine basis like Boss4x4.

Or, if you can get the fabricator to ship to Triple B Forwarders in WA or CA, Triple B Forwarders ships bulk items here all the time. I used the for my wheels and leaf spring packs. Great service and best price I could find.

Lately, seems like everyone just sucks up the high cost to ship and has the fabricator ship directly to them. Ballers!

 

Anyone on island have any recommendations for powder coating? About to pull the trigger on a BAMF plate bumper, and they want $200 to powder coat prior to shipping. Given the current times, I would be willing to support a local shop on island if they are in a similar price range.

I’d just get their powder coat or rattle can it. I have their bumper with full hoops and love it. It has a Good Powdercoat on it. The bumper comes with the bumper reinforcement plates

I really need to get out on the beach again. I want to meet up with you dudes on Keana Point one day. The longer I’m stuck in the house, the more things I’m ordering.

 

Anyone have the frame replacement done on Island? I took it in last week for a frame inspection and the Tech told me it will be covered. Waiting on the warranty department to confirm. From what I have been reading on the interweb it appears the quality of work is hit or miss depending on the dealership. If it is covered, Servco in Kaneohe will be doing the work. Let me know. Mahalo!
