yeah as long as my numbers still come out right then im fine with them taking care of it.... so far they have done good.

 

Anyone down for Kaena tomorrow afternoon? I'm going with a friend for some off roading and pictures. Probably be there til sunset.

 

So i have 6000k hids for my headlights. Is it dumb installing 5000k hids for my fogs? Or should i just color match my headlights? Oh, just to clarify, I don't like yellow lights (3000k). Planning on ordering them from ddmtuning.

 

depends...are you planning on driving around with your fogs on?

the color difference should be minor and you as driving probably wouldn't notice it.

I loved my 3000k fogs, when the clouds were covering H3, I could still drive normal speed while everyone else couldn't see and slowed to 30mph.

 

On my last Tacoma (07 PreRunner sport) I had matching 6K and it looked sick, will be doing the same on my new build, eventually!!!

Nice. I'm leaning towards matching also. Where did you get yours from? Went to racefactory and their prices is unreal.

Just a heads up about recon for you guys thinking about rear bumpers, since they gotta give you a new sticker, you gotta pay the $15 even if you just updating. Luckily I had enough change in my coin holder
Also they made me remove all my rigids cause they are not DOT legal
So either take them off or buy the black covers

I'd say matching. I just think it will be one less reason to get pulled over. White fogs will make your headlights seem more blue with the color contrast.

My 5k headlights make the stock driving lights look like yellow fogs. I don't ever use them unless necessary though, and that's pretty much never the case.

 

I second that! Saw you driving, and was like , Hey that's Bulla... then almost rear ended the car in front of me... Lesson learned. Stop perving on tacomas while driving.

Saw another 12 or 13, Pretty mean. prerunner sport truck with front and rear x runner conversion valences, king suspension, and 20"+ wheels with street tires, with 5 lug adapters. Had to do a double take. Like a lifted sport truck. Maybe because x-runners only come ext cab and he made his double cab into a x-runner. Clean truck though.

I had to modify the contactor control box bracket so I can just attach it to the winch instead of making a bracket. I cut it off and moved it over about 3/4" and welded it back on.

any got a good/cheap place to install front shocks? would do myself but no more tools/space since i moved to town.

 

Anyone ditch their front sway bar and want to turn their end links into beer money? I got another project/idea I want to try out. Just looking for the end links not the sway bar. Thanks

 

I ordered 5000k. I'm planning on using them only when necessary. I also hardly ever use my fogs but like I said only when I need to. Thanks for the tip.
