    Similar to getting a construction permit to work on your house, its a construction permit for your car after you have modified it to make sure its roadworthy to their standards. With the toytec lift, you should be fine. You'll need to make an appointment for inspection, and within 30 days prior to that inspection, you need to get an alignment sheet printout to bring to the recon inspection. If you're already in specs, the shop may just charge you a fee to put your truck on the rack and get the alignment specs. I took mine down to island brake and alignment, but others have gone to different shops. Mud-flaps should be required for the rear and are supposed to cover the full width of the tire and at least the top half of the height. From the looks of your truck you should be fine as long as you get the alignment papers. Also, your front windows can't be tinted darker than 35% and you need to have your front plate mounted.

    So today I notice my DTRLs are not working when I turn the DRTL on; however, when I turn it to the parking lights, DTRL comes on. Any clue on what might happen? Do you guys think it's caused by my fog light mod? Fuse? Thanks. :eek::eek:

    I've been searching for material to create a wider mudflap for my rears. I'm looking for material that's easy to cut don't want the semi truck mudflaps. I've seen someone with what looks something like "roofing paper" type material.

    Anyone know where I can find something like this on the island?

    Mine did that about a week after I did tgr mod. It fixed itself though after a few days

    anyone know of good mountain bike trails on the island? I heard Kaena point has some so-so stuff and I saw a dude getting geared up for some serious downhill at the start of the Wa'Ahila Ridge trail the other day. Any other good stuff out there?

    maunawilli has a mtb trail too? I've only hiked there up to a water fall. I'm assuming there is a side trail that turns into singletrack. (looking on the website, it looks pretty cool... gunna try that out this weekend hopefully)

    And I guess St Louis heights is the trail that I saw that guy prepping for at Wa'Ahila ridge. That looks like some freaking fun stuff
