You got part numbers for the rotors and pads?

 

If your automatic, did you ever try putting your tranny in 3rd or even 2nd and coast down the hill?

 

I buy all my brakes from tirerack.com. Pretty good prices an shipping isnt bad either.

Did u buy a new uca bolt?

How hard was it to get out?

This is jus a piece of my lift. I'm saving up for they suspension parts so i can buy dem all 1 time save on shipping and more waiting/anticipating.

 

I reused the original bolts but I had to bend/cut the passenger side sheet metal in the fender to get the bolt out. The driver side was easier, just had to bend little bit to get it out but harder to get back in. I put the passenger side in the opposite way and it went in pretty easy. I just bent the metal back after I put the bolt back in.

The hard part to me was trying to squeeze the uca bushing washers in there. That I had to use a pry bar to make space for the washers. I needed my wife to help hold the UCA in place while I manuvered the driver's side bolt back in.

 

U never hit up any of da braddahs on hea for help?

That's as far as the taper pin seats in the spindle. Maybe it's because the uniball is recessed in the UCA. I saw that too but if the spindle was closer it would bind against the UCA. The truck drives great.

Edit: Now you got me worried. Lol. I hope that's as far as the tapered rod can be seated in the spindle. I'm going to go check now. Lol

 

I went out to take a look at the tapered rod and that's just how it is. Now since I just looked at it, I should have painted the top of the spindle before it starts to rust.

 

Can someone with a newer tacoma check and see what color markings are on the front driver and passenger springs. I mixed my stock coils up and don't know what side is what.

Forgive me if wrong, but I don't think the springs are different from side to side. This is why we have the taco lean.. If toyota was smart enough to have a slightly longer spring for the drivers side, taco lean would be a non-issue..

I hope your right lol. I just saw another thread where they said the stock springs are different side to side. I just want to be able to sell the springs and let the person that buys them know which side is which or if it doesn't matter. Thanks
