I had fun! I did take out a shovel, but I didn't have to use it

But I been stuck in doors for the last month+, so I was way too white for that much sun.. I think my face burnt a little..

 

Ohh Freaking sweet, I'm soo looking foreward for tomorrows event.

Driving on sand makes you feel like your floating, it's pretty funn

Just made some minor tweaks after watching the footage. I noticed my rear track was off, fixed that and the brake lines. And I rotated the tires while I was at it

I messed up the sequence on the front camera, so I'll have to fix it later.

Is those stock leaf springs? and what shocks are you running??

Its the 2wd part... And without a locker... So 1wd from time to time

I'm all good if I flex the leafs, it will give me a reason to get a leaf pack! And I have the extended shocks and brake lines to take it.

They are stock leafs with an AAL. And those are Bilstein 5125 6" extended with 8" extended brake lines.

didn't look like the tire was deforming at all. Looks fun though; what's sand wheeling without a stuck or two

just looking at when the leafs move, looks like they're hitting neutral arch when you're going through that sand. Flex it out into negative arch and the leafs like to break.

Well, I wasn't too bad when I got home. But all that time working on the truck after I got home kinda finished me off Now my face and arms are a little red. Almost looks like when I weld a lot..

Gotcha

Yea, the tires are load E, so they don't love to deform. And the Duratrac's dig more than any other AT I have had before.

I've had my leafs in a negative arch a few times before, and know a few other Frontier guys who have and not had nay breaks. They all have AAL's too, so maybe that helps? Since you don't have the factory overload springs pulling tension?

I think they are way over-saturated, but I can't trust my monitors right now..
