    Yup, I cannot

All Nissan's cut throttle to 40% when the brake is applied :/ Just like they won't let you turn the vehicle dynamic control system completely off, just dampen it. So I am never truly without electronic traction control.

Looks like I stirred up a shit storm on the "Beefed Slider" thread..:D

I wasn't trying to be an asshole to the guy, as it may come accross like that, but just trying to wake this guy up! If it's too hot in the kitchen...get out!!!

I stand by my comments, and I noticed a few Hawaii members chimed in to support Iven. If that somehow gets resolution to the issue...then it was worth the effort IMO:)

Iven...I hope you get what you deserve! Good, quality sliders!!

It appears it's for the 2012 & 2013 Tacoma, some Lexus, as well as the 2012 RAV4.

    Recall ID # 14V054000 SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:ANTILOCK:CONTROL UNIT/MODULE

    Recall Date:FEB 12, 2014

Model Affected:2012/2013 Toyota Tacoma and Lexus RX350 vehicles and certain model year 2012 Toyota Rav4 vehicles

    Summary:

Toyota is recalling certain model year 2012 and 2013 Toyota Tacoma and Lexus RX350 vehicles and certain model year 2012 Toyota Rav4 vehicles. In the affected vehicles, the brake system contains a brake actuator that adjusts the fluid pressure of each wheel cylinder. An electrical component within the actuator may experience an increased resistance resulting in the illumination of various warning lights, including those for the Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) system, Antilock Brake System (ABS), and Traction Control system.
    Consequence:

If this occurs, these systems could become inoperative, reducing the directional control assistance, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy:

Toyota will notify owners, and Toyota and Lexus dealers will update the software for the Skid Control electronic control unit, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin early April 2014. Owners may contact Toyota at 1-800-331-4331.

    Potential Units Affected: 261114

    Notes:

    Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing

Hawaii members...if you made a post on the Beefed sliders thread in defense of Iven's purchase and misfortune...I am asking you to delete your comments that may be negative since a resolution between Iven and the OP has been made. I made my comments in anger and have now resinded/deleted my posts from the guys thread. It's your choice to do so, but as a gesture of Aloha it would be appreciated as I think the guy, "Got the Point"

    Aloha...Rick:)

Ecu can only be flashed once. This is the reason I declined, because I wanted to get the supercharger reflash. Once its flashed, you'd have to get a new ecu.
