    I'm waiting for my full size spare to be mounted/balanced. I don't think there is TPMS in the 2013 spare tire. The spare didn't have the metal valve stem like the rest of the tires. I left the spare just to make sure. Anybody know if the 2013 spare has a TPMS sensor in it? Woouldn't it have the same valve stem as the rest?

    Got it. One more question: If I rotate this non TPMS tire with the rest, will the tire pressure light come on when the TPMS tire is stored as the spare in my bed?:confused:

    its possible that there is one with a rubber stem, but I'm doubting it.

    I'm surprised your spare didn't come with a TPMS if that is the case...all of the tires should have it. The steel rim tpms is different and unusable with the aluminum rim though.

    as long as you have all the tpms with the correct psi, and within the truck, its fine.

    I drove almost 200miles before my light turned on after switching rims, then I re-programmed the new ones.

    You have more info on this? I know they reflashed my ecu for the auto trans shifting and probably for the brake/gas cut out when I took it in for the spiral cable recall.

    Im gunna look into it over here. supposedly there are some places online that will teach you how to hack your ecu... not that i would ever be able to do it. but supposedly if there was a big enough will..... there technically is a way.
