So I don't know a single thing about suspension. Luka saw it, he may be able to chime in. I'm pretty sure the coils aren't installed. Luka said he thinks he could use the LCA method (again, no clue). It's a pro-comp 3". Got it from 4 wheel parts. Was supposed to get side steps but in guess there was a hiccup and talking to them on the phone I didn't know the brand.
I'd like to get it on. I don't do off-road much and I'm pretty sure pro comp isn't the best brand (by far). It is kinda more for looks. When I get time to do a lot of off reading I was planning on switching to OME :).
I don't have any clue who to talk to about getting the springs installed. Not sure if the AAL came with a new U bolt.

Looks like you should be able to do the LCA method. You wouldn't want to crank those things up a bunch before install though so you would have the least amount of compression on the spring. (I attached the youtube video below)

Again, your rear is pretty much cake.. Look in the DIY forum on the 2nd Gen site to get acquainted.

There are a couple things you need to do before hand.. maybe post a picture of what you have, so we can chime in to what you don't have and need..

I would help if I have some time.. I NEED to try and install my own sliders this weekend. Have been doing some night activities and it is killing me that they are realy just sitting on work horses in the backyard... If I finished early, we could definitely do your AAL at the least.

The U bolts aren't a big deal. I have an extra set that was left over from Ricks install. Most service stations have a wall mounted spring compressor. I think I paid $50 at Ron's performance to swap mine to 700# coils.

it didn't look too bad. I have a manual spring compressor that should work as long as the new springs have a similair spring rate as oem, well, as long as they aren't over 650lb springs, it should work out ok. the LCA method is the other way.

I might be busy this weekend but I should be free next weekend if ya still need help.

Does anyone know the spring rate for Icon's springs that come with their coilovers by chance?

I'll watch the vid (thanks for posting the link!) and check out the DIY suspension guides to get familiar. I'll also post some pics tomorrow. Thanks for the help guys!
If I'm available I'll help you guys out too. I want to learn as much as possible about our trucks and the best way is to get hands on.

2nd gen OEM replacements are usually 650# IIRC
