    Oh boy...
The only thing i dont like about IROK's is they tend to wear quickly if your using them on the daily. Micky Thompson BFG KM2s have the longevity reviews so thats also what im counting on. expecially since im gunna be paying about 6-700 dollars out of my pocket for a set of 5 (only kuz im selling my 35's)

pretty much. I just need to pick up another rca, small gauge pwr/grnd, and some speaker wire for the doors. I just need man power from someone that knows their way around wiring cause I can't afford to have my truck in pieces for more than a day. I'll supply all the food, beer and any other delight for the help!

If longevity is your main concern, the procomp xtreme mt2 has a 40k tread wear warranty and comes in 305/65 (32.6") and 315/70 (34.5")

I almost forgot that he Goodyear has those Kevlar sidewalls that no one seems to have any complaints about. They almost always have rebates on those too.

    I'll get some after lunch!

I've done a bunch. It's not really hard if you can take your time. And if you plan on doing the cleanest install possible then you should pull at least the front seats. Hardest part will be getting the speaker wire into the doors.

You should get a new head unit instead of using the lc7. Personal preference. But yeah it's not that but it is time consuming. I've also done a lot of installs. Slower u go the better it comes out. As for wiring go with a good brand, Orion kicker rockford jl ect. Wire hanger threw the boot in the door always works. Wen did u want to do the install?

I'm running all Rockford wires in my truck. Was a few hundred in wire alone though. 100 feet of 16awg speaker wire, 20 feet of red 4awg, 3 feet of black 4awg, 20 feet of blue 18awg, and three pairs of 16.4 foot dual twisted pair RCA.

If you ever want to put anything in your doors (led puddle lights and behind the mirror turn signals come to mind) then run an extra wire and just tie it off. Will thank me when it's time to run more wires through that boot! And label your wires on both ends, saves you some headache.

This was 3/16 on 3/16. I still gotta figure out how to do corners.
    image-127_89be1ba44f4a5a1cc9d92bce738f009f46c96b64.jpg

This is 3/8 on .140 wall tube. Not the prettiest but really good for a $200 110 welder.
    image-128_408c1ba32de31d7c98335c5bc37ed1debc8a6ecb.jpg

And again 3/16 on 3/16. Ignore my ugly ass plug welds. Working on grinding them down now.

When I say text book I mean my text book, not whatever you guys are reading :p I still have problems with undercutting, but that's me and not the machine. Overall I'm okay with undercutting if that's the worst of my mistakes.

    looks good!

corners are a little trickier, it helps if you can run the bead from both sides and even make an extra pass to build up the joint.

Thanks guys, I'm trying to get better :) welding is pretty fun! But I hate it when it's all odd angles.. I know I would like TIG.

Fwiw my total gas costs for the front and rear bumper are around $120. Sliders will probably add $40 to that. I know I would have been around $1k in gas if I was running straight argon.

I plan to rip out the whole interior for this one.

Yeah I thought about getting a new head unit but my wife wouldn't approve it. She'd think that I'm buying a whole new system. Besides I like the stock deck it has all the features that I need except for pre outs. So, I'll wait to save up more money for the premium upgrades of my suspension and deck.

I'm just waiting on the LC7 to come in the mail and I'll order the rest of the wires I need. Maybe sometime in the next 2-3 weeks? what ever works for you. I just have to do it when the kids are in school or have a babysitter.
