Yea.. I was supposed to bring the truck this morning, but yesterday was just more convenient. The guy said I could bring it, but didn't know if they would have the room inside.. If it had to go outside, was still more convenient, but glad they made the room..

Didn't want 4wp to do it, and DH may be too busy (guy never called me back to even give me prices and wanted to sell me a eaton rear rather than the ARB).
Hope the install goes without a hitch..

 

Yeah lots of work went into it.

Truck is supercharged also.

That's how it was they first came out, but don't think they make you do that anymore. I think it was to keep people from buying them, and then trying to sell it right away to make some money if somebody wanted one badly enough without the wait. Its such a nice car though!

well I got my recon today. dude was super cool. took less than 15 minutes, and I had no front license plate, insurance card was 2 months expired, alignment was over 30 days ago, and that trail team sticker on my back window. that guy gave zero fucks.

 

yesterday at about noon hahahahaha
I called the guy told me to come in at 0700

 

wouldn't hurt. ive heard a bunch of people saying recon appt are backed up a few months, I got an appt 18 hours in advance

 

I got my appt 2 weeks after I called.

 

maybe there were cancellations.

I got my recon pretty quick too, but it was before the big safety check change.

 

how much does recon cost?

due to lack of knowledge of the toyota suspension my lift was not accomplished today so first thing tomorrow i will be knocking it out with the experience i have gained today it should help and hopefully i can get it aligned and good to go for the weekend

What you putting in and what roadblocks you come upon?? Check all the DIY threads those are invaluable..

1. Front's (if not coilovers)..
*If assembled, use the regular method and disconnect the UCA.
*If unassembled, use the LCA method
*If coilovers, get them assembled and see above.
2. Rears
* If full Dakar pack, there is a DIY which works.. Do the floor jack thing and the stock jack thing..
* If AAL, EASY..

well i was trying to utilize a spacer lift on my OME to get as much lift as i could and i think it may have been to much

 

Not terribly bad.. we had 5 guys on the BAMF GB and paid a bit less than that each...

I got 13mm trim spacers in my 884s,, EASY (if you have the extended mounted bolts..

If using stock mounting bolts, can only use the 1/4" lean spacer..
